Professor Helmut Milz, MD born 1949 in Germany studied medicine and sociology ( Free University Berlin) holds specialty degrees in psychosomatic medicine, psychotherapy (behavioral therapy) and general medicine postgraduate training in Public Health (UC Berkeley), acupuncture and various bodytherapies; longterm explorations of somatic potentials with pioneers such as G. Alexander, T. Hanna, C. Selver, B. Bainbridge-Cohen, et various al.; certified Esalen-massage practitioner was consultant to the Health Promotion Program of the World Health Organisation ( WHO ) ; co-authored the WHO "Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion"; was involved in setting up WHO programs for worksite health promotion, the Healthy Cities Program, Health Promoting Hospitals Program, etc. ; former associate director of psychosomatic Klinik Roseneck, Prien, Germany authored five books on holistic health and healing; honorary professor of public health at the University of Bremen / Germany; in private practice,
